Shakti Sthal

Symbol of strength, protection, and beginnings

The Shakti Sthal, adjacent to Shayan Kaksh, a radiant Maa Durga idol embodies divine feminine power, strength, protection, and cosmic energy; invoking profound spiritual connection and inspiring devotees through her fierce yet compassionate presence.

At Urjaa Dham, adjacent to ‘Shayan Kaksh’, lies the revered ‘Shakti Sthal’, where a radiant and powerful idol of Maa Durga is enshrined. This luminous idol symbolizes the dynamic energy of the divine feminine, embodying strength, protection, and new beginnings. Known also as ‘Prakruti’, or Nature, Maa Durga is venerated as the supreme cosmic mother and the embodiment of ‘Shakti’—the universal energy that sustains and balances life

Maa Durga is celebrated not merely as a fierce warrior vanquishing evil but as a compassionate force that preserves dharma, the moral order of the universe. Her serene and composed expression amid the depiction of battle reflects the principle that her power is wielded with love and justice. As a divine mother, she nurtures and guides her devotees toward courage, truth, and righteousness, inspiring them to overcome both external adversities and inner negativity.

Visitors to Urjaa Dham often share profound spiritual experiences with the idol, ranging from emotional release and tears to feelings of trance and goose-bumps, symbolizing a deep connection with her divine presence.

To honor her triumph of good over evil, Navratri is celebrated here four times annually; Chaitra Navratri, Magha Gupt Navratri, Ashadha Gupt Navratri, and Shardiya Navratri. These vibrant celebrations highlight the continuous veneration of Maa Durga’s transformative energy and her role as the eternal protector and nurturer.
