Guidelines ensuring respect, order, and harmony

At Urjaa Dham, rules and ethics come with necessary restrictions, not to assert authority but to uphold purpose and order. These protocols are thoughtfully designed, ensuring a respectful and smooth environment. Feel free to ask any questions for clear understanding, clarity and adherence are key to our shared harmony and success.

• Ladies with open hair are strictly prohibited from entering; please ensure your hair is properly tied to maintain sanctity.
• Visitors must avoid black clothing alone; wear attire covering shoulders, back, knees—shorts are strictly forbidden inside ‘Garbh-griha’.
• Non-vegetarian offerings in any form are strictly forbidden; only pure vegetarian offerings uphold the temple’s sacred traditions.
• Photography, without explicit permission, is strictly prohibited to preserve the sanctity and privacy of the sacred space.
• Garbh-griha’ is open to devotees from 5:00 am to 11:00 am, and then again from 4:00 pm till 9:00 pm
• Night entry or overnight stays inside the ‘Garbh-griha’ are strictly forbidden to maintain the sanctity of the temple premises.
• Touching the deities or idols is strictly prohibited; only authorized priests are permitted to perform such rituals or ceremonies.
• Maintain complete silence, speak softly, and avoid materialistic or irrelevant conversations while inside or around the sanctum.
• Always keep mobile phones silent and avoid distractions that could disturb the peaceful and devotional environment of the temple.
• Walk strictly in a clockwise direction around the sanctum sanctorum to show respect and follow traditional ritualistic protocol.
• Women during menstruation, considered in a pure state, should only perform ‘Parikrama’ and refrain from sitting inside the sanctum.
